Right, I've been inspired by psychopathbubble and shall be serving HM pasta with HM pasta sauce and HM garlic foaccia bread for dinner this evening. That means I have until 4pm then I need to get busy in the kitchen :)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! Your avatar makes me laugh... I always think that expression is an actual face or what you are going to say is shocking!

That sounds yummy! I taste tested one of my cakes and they are ok.... I'm definitely fussy when I've made something though.

It really works! I think I just got fed up of all the 'I wants' one day and showed them the shrapnel I had left!!

I reckon you could buy the tickets earlier, but still on day of showing, at the multiplex. I feel such a mug that I used to pay the extra to book in advance and I'd even get the VIP seats :o I wonder why I owe so much?

Bowling was almost a success but sadly their meals didn't come with drinks so I ended up forking out for them and getting myself something.

I called in at the cinema as we were passing and I've now got 2 mornings at the pictures planned - for the grand total of £6! Don't think that covers one persons ticket for one showing does it usually? I'll smuggle sweets in with me from the supermarket opposite.

I have told my eldest about the budget plans for the holidays and she seems quite excited about planning things now - wonder who she takes after :rotfl:

My youngest is just whizzing around the park on her bike right now - thankfully we have no guests at the moment so she has it all to herself. The eldest is playing with her lego. The fresh air this morning has done them both the world of good.

OMG, just found of the OH doesn't eat pasta, rice, cous cous etc. Apparently he is much more of a "proper dinner" person. That is defo going to have to change.

I don't do valentines day, so there's no gifts or anything, but I did just get a message that he's picked me up some chocolates from Bruges :EasterBun.

He has also (rather kindly) agreed to give my sister a lift home when he comes to visit my parents this weekend. Which is particularly nice as he's never even met her :rotfl:.

As for the teacher training, you did make me panic a little bit TheAllanCadenhead, but I spoke to the uni I want and they've only given out 4 of the 10 places. Will get my skates on tho, don't want to miss out due to procrastination!

Ha Ha!:rotfl: Typical VW story! Sadly avatar VW is not mine - I used to have a less cute n not so old but v decrepit VW. Had to let it go as big bits of metal kept falling off. I certainly kept the RAC busy while I had my van. Would love another when I am debt free - I certainly felt like "I was living the dream" when I had it :)

lol ... and that's another typical VW bus story. What a shame you had to let it go, I hope you get another one one day. They are great things to have aren't they. We seemed to get excellent pitches at the German campsites - I'm sure the old British bus swayed it for us.

Pooshpals - Excellent! You have MSE children :money:

    Happy birthday Karenann76 :bdaycake:

No seeing OH for me tonight as he works away in the week :( so our Valentines celebration will be this coming weekend instead.
