Primus Home Saver or Post Office phone deal?

Hi,
I am looking to reduce my landline bill and currently call Spain approx 3 times a week using an override provider.
Do you think it will be cheaper to move from BT to the Primus Home Saver and use the cheapest override provider. Or move to the post office landline deal suggested with inclusive international calls and make my calls of a weekend?
Apart from using my landline to call family abroad, I have no other ned to use it...
Thank you for your help in advance.

Spain is only 4p connection plus 1p/minute from a BT landline using override provider 18185. My wife calls her sister for an hour or so every week without breaking the bank.Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0

How much is your current line rental may I ask?
My grandmother was with the post office prior to migrating to TalkTalk and I have to say that their service was very good and the fact that international weekend calls were included in the £12.25 line rental is great value in my opinion.0 -
If you have inclusive landline 01/02/03 minutes you can call Spanish Landlines for 0.8p a minute. Via a direct UK 01/02 Geographical Number.

Whats more there’s no connection, or service charges.0 -
I've been looking through my BT bills and I'm paying £17 for unlimited evening and weekend calls. It's too dear.
I've realised that BT are charging me in addition to this for phoning crazytel - an override provider with an 0208 number that should be included in this call allowance as it's an 0208 number.0 -
£14.60/month of BT's charges is for line rental - so you're only actually paying £2.40/month for inclusive evening and weekend 01/02/03/0845 and 0870 calls.I've been looking through my BT bills and I'm paying £17 for unlimited evening and weekend calls. It's too dear.

I think you'll find that BT's T&Cs specifically exclude override providers' numbers - so, as soon as they find them, they'll add them to the list and they become charged-for calls.Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market.
