eBay Seller - notebookbitz - Replacement Laptop Screen

On Wednesday, my (nearly) 2 year daughter stood / jumped on my wife's laptop, shattering the screen. Rather than fork out the excess for an insurance claim, I decided to try replace it myself (I'm a dab hand with computers, so roughly knew what I was doing, and at £35 for a new screen v £100 excess & increased premiums, it was worth a try)

I ordered a replacement screen from eBay on Wednesday evening/night, selecting their standard delivery option (free) from ebay seller notebookbitz. Due to xMas & new year, I wasn't expecting it until next week some time, however it arrived recorded today (Friday) - and fitted / worked perfectly. The item was also very well packaged, and was provided with tracking ref for it - ironically, they sent me the tracking ref AFTER it was delivered, it arrived that fast.

So a big thanks to the seller (I also sent them a personal thanks email on top of normal feedback) for saving me a ton on my insurance premium had I claimed / bought a new laptop, and also to Royal Mail for their part in keeping up with deliveries at a busy time of year.

Would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone needing a new screen.
