protection insurance eligability

I have just been "Tupe'd" across to an outsourcing company who intends to move some roles offshore.

At this time I do not know if my role is at risk and I have not been informed by my employer that my role may be at risk.

I have looked at some application forms for unemployment protection and they do ask if I am "aware" of any possibility of becoming unemployed.

Given the lack of information provided by my employer, would it be fraudulent to say no to this type of question?

if in doubt check with the insurance company before making the application...get it in writing
