Hi,
I sold my house last month and haven't as yet found another one to buy. I'm currently staying with my mum. Can anyone advise me on where to put £100,000 which is currently in my Current account at First Direct. I shall need to use all of it at short notice when I find a house to buy. Is it worth doing for the interest even if it's just for a couple of months? Thanks for any help.

Aim for over 2.75%.
That, over 2 months, is £458 before tax.
So I'd say it's worth it. AA, Halifax, ING, Tesco will all have accounts in that range. Others in the link below.

Thanks, opinions4u, I think I shall put most of it in the Nationwide Mysave Online Plus a/c as I shall definitely only be making the one withdrawal. Thanks for your help.Sealed Pot challenge #59SPC5 total £473.600
