Exchanged Today!

Hi All,

I have been reading the threads on here with great interest over the past few weeks mainly because I have been going through a house purchase! We exchanged contracts today and complete on the 16th February!

Good luck to all of you future movers, I hope it all works out for you!

    We complete today too, but not moving until tomorrow/Friday. lol, gonna be moving in the snow!!!! :eek:

    It all depends when the solicitors get the cleared funds!
    When we moved in 1999, we picked the keys up at 12 noon. However, last December, the people moving into our house didn't pick the keys up until 3:30pm!!

    There's nothing stopping you handing over the keys before you get the all go, but it's at your own risk!
    If the money is being transferred by CHAPS, there is no guarantee what time the money will be transferred during the day...the only guarantee I was given was that it would be "sometime before the end of the business day".
