Clean the adhesive off then replace the 4 full tiles. When dry fit a mdf window board (large enough to come over the front edge of the skirting) pack it up where needed..

You'll be fine with the £10 straight cutting machine.
I've just retiled my kitchen using one to cut Wickes 33cm square 10mm thick ceramic tiles, no problems at all.
I'm intrigued to hear how you managed to cut 330 tiles with a 300 cutter?
Your tiles look similar and if they cost about £1 per tile why pay £30+ for a machine you won't be needing again.
Look similar is a really objective assessment and he can recycle the machine if he doesn't want/need it again. If he gets £ 20 for it after only a dozen cuts then he still no more down than the £ 10 you want him to spend on a piece of kit he probably won';t use again either..
You can also buy a low cost tile saw if you've an odd shape to cut.
Works well enough for doing a few tiles.
and by the time he's spent £ 10 on the cutter (which is still not going to work for him IMHO), £5 on one of these (which won't work on floor tiles), another £4 on a tile file to clean up the mess the low cost tile saw made and spent 5 hours faffing about to do a job which he can accomplish in 1 hour with the correct tool he'll have invested a lot more than £30 in a cheap wetsaw.

    Cheers

You've assumed (wrongly) it only works with tiles up to a maximum size of 300mm ?
It's a simple straight score and snap cutter for tiles, 10-12mm thick. Perfect for this application.
Why spend £30+ on redundant tools ?
Bit of an overkill then having to faff about trying to resell it secondhand.
It looks from the photo as if very few cuts are needed anyway,if at all, when a strip is used.

    Cheers.
