And if I really were an angel, I'd float over your bed
Each night a different dream of me I'd plant inside your head
And if I were an angel, I tell you what I'd do
I'd appear in a vision and I'd give my wings to you

In the papers today if you have a Kwiksave receipt or bag Asda will give a free bloomer loaf & 2 pint of milk.
    Nice to save.
  • Last night I managed to pick up a 2in1 DVD and Freeview Digibox from ASDA for only £25.

I bought it from ASDA at Coryton in Cardiff but it might be worth checking other stores for this offer.

I only wanted a cheap DVD player for the bedroom so with built in freeview it was quite a bargain.

Do you have to have the tv plugged into an outdoor aerial in the bedroom to get the freeview?

Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it.
Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.

Went straight to customer services and exchanged the Kwik save receipt (not that she even looked at it but it was dated Nov 06) for an Asda voucher worth £1.55 for free bread & milk. Doesn't specify size of milk or bread, so I got a pint of milk 35p and a bloomer loaf 88p = £1.35, plus a few other things. Spotted Persil gel tablets 40s with 8 extra free, so 48 tablets in a box. Happened to have Sainsbury's leaflet with me with Persil gel tablets on offer 2 for £7 (normally £4.48 a box). Also happened to have Persil vouchers worth £8 with me ;)

Cashier did not know anything about the kwik save voucher, supervisor was called, voucher was OK-ed and I got £1.55 off my shopping (gained an extra 20p!), plus £8 vouchers for Persil tablets... ended up paying 5p for a £9.60 shop.

I picked up the 'Destination Portsmouth' board game, RRP £19.95 from my local Asda (Fareham) today for £5. This was from a pile of boxes, all unmarked and still factory sealed inside the front door. A good one to put away for Christmas.
