Just thought I would share a warning about Footlocker.com
My sister was trying to order some shoes on their website on Nov 29, she was using an imac and mozilla firefox and her payment kept failing, therefore not generating an order or confirmation email. So I tried with my card and it also failed. I contacted their customer service number and was told there may be a problem with the site and try again later or try a different computer, so I tried a different browser, Safari.
The order went through and I got a confirmation email... then the following day Footlocker themselves cancelled my order. So we both checked and two amounts were taken from our accounts and no goods to be dispatched!
I contacted them and they said they would issue a refund after 10 working days but it could take 8 weeks to go through... 8 WEEKS!!!!
To cut a long story short and A LOT of back and forth emails and calls and no explanation on their side or proper replies, they asked for my sisters bank statement, so she sent it, another week or so went by with no reply, so I contacted again, and again they asked for hers and my bank statement, even though my order had an order number and one of their employees said I wouldn't need to send one!
So in the end I gave in and sent mines and again my sisters, after a full 4 weeks, I finally got my refund after threatening to get my bank on the case as my bank staff said a Debit Card transaction should never take anymore than 5 working days to refund into an account.
My sister is still waiting.
and their customer service is terrible... they've just lost an entire family worth of customers, will never use their site again!
So, beware of the faulty site and their 8 week refund policy!

Help,
Can anybody tell me what my rights are. A couple of days ago I ordered 2 sofa's from next. My friend had told me that if u ordered two sofa's it was coming up with a multi save of £1100.00 instead of £100.00 meaning that the sofa's only came to £49.00 each. Obviously I ordered them. I had a receipt to say that I had ordered them and that the sofa's were £49.00 each, which I printed out.
I have received an email from next today saying that due to human error that the prices where wrong, and that this had been posted on numerous 'hot deal' websites, and that they where not honouring it, and that they had spoken to trading standards.
Do I have any rights? I thought if they advertised a product at a certain price then they had to honour it??0 -
