has anyone been to the Isle of wight through this promotion? Is the ferry extra? x

We are going at Easter to IoW - as with Sun hols the park gives you a code for 50% off.

Also - they advertise these as £15 pp - but you can usually get £10 pp breaks - we have used Breakfree for the last 2 yrs - three times last yr - incl Easter & Oct half term.

We have been to the Isle of Wight through this offer a couple of times. Half price ferry crossing at about £40 return.

same here , if the pooch cant go we dont go .

Given that the sites will have other dogs there that are with caravan owners, private renters, people paying the full price and those using the touring site, what do you think are the chance of them noticing one small dog ?

No idea why this rule this time, wondering if it's worth a chance ?

  • Ok, before I try and brave the gale force winds to go out for the paper can somebody answer a couple of questions for me

    1) Do European holidays include transport or is it accommodation only?
    2) Do they run their bookings Sat to Sat or can you pick your own dates?

Also any experiences from those who have been to any european parks would be much appreciated.

    Thank you
  • Alionaear, we did the offer to Duinrell in Holland last year, it was fabulous. The ferry is included, although we took the option of upgrading to Eurotunnel as it's much quicker, for only £20 extra. It is self drive though, no other transport is included. From the ferry terminal it took us about 3 1/2 hours to drive to the site, through France and Belgium. We also picked our own dates, went Saturday to Wednesday, and picked our own ferry, or eurotunnel, times, so you can structure it to suit yourself. Cannot recommend it enough, will try to sort something again this year!

I would probably chance this, the company may not allow dogs (only know this from previous posts), But the campsites do.

    For example -

Hopton Holiday Park, Nr Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, NR31 9BW
    Telephone No: 0871 231 0874
    Dogs: Dogs allowed
Park Opening Dates: 18 March - 31 October
Parking: Parking is available next to caravans or nearby

So surely leave the dog in the car, check in, and take the dog to the caravan.. there are going to be others there, so I would :) But I don't have a dog lol!

Today's code is COAST. However, from reading the supplement anyone hoping to book a UK holiday in state school holiday time is going to be disappointed - unless you can start a 3-day on Friday 30th March, 13th April or 20th July. Other than that all school holidays dates are excluded. Foreign ones it looks like you can do in Easter holidays but not in summer holidays.
  • We booked through them on the last deal, got a long weekend for 5 of us at Easter for £92 and that was upgraded to luxury+
Will see how this one goes before i commit to booking another
