At the moment I am the only person there but soon we will be running activities for people with learning difficulties and carers. We moved here from a very small office the other side of town. I've told the trustees they need to sort the heating out before they can hold any kind of activity in there.

Well its hardly hard labour down the Gulag, so I suggest a trip to go outdoors who do very cheap thermals starting at a £5.00.

Yes that's right. I'm also doing benefit advice, hate crime service and listening ear.

And what did they say when you said that you would not be able to work in those temperatures?

I don't really need to know what you do - just what you are trying to do to resolve the heating situation...which is the thing you are asking about.

They agreed with me that it was cold!

I was wondering if anyone had any tips to keep warm in such a cold temperature when most of your job involves sitting still for 4 hours solid.
