PCN in the early morning
I have got a PCN at 7:42 as i parked over the kerb on a residential street. The cars in front of me were parked the same way as it is very narrow. I thought it would 'ok' as enforcing officers start work at 9qm right? He must have been a resident lol. I was parked in front of my service user house as im part-time care worker.
Many thanks in advance.

Go to pepipoo with this. (Though the time the ticket was issued is probably irrelevant)0

I recently checked out the pictures by the council and to my joy it was very dark, you can't tell my car or if it was parked over the kerb whoop whoop so I made a appeal denying it all together

They can't go far with black pictures as evidence haha! Thanks anyways

Pictures don't mean a great deal as far as evidence goes TBH. Most normally they are only admitted after all other evidence has been accepted or to clarify a minor technical point.
Its the ticket itself and the patroller's contemperanious notes that really matter.
And enforcers work the hours a council/contractor sets for them - there is no such thing as standard 9-5.

Agree, councils have cottoned on the the idea that people think they can park were they like overnight and can get away with it. Not anymore, nice little earner. And enforcers work the hours a council/contractor sets for them - there is no such thing as standard 9-5.

Yup - Patrollers here used to work fixed hours that meant you could pretty well park where you liked after 6pm but a couple of years back they hired-in a contractor to ticket early-morning/late night for a few months and that proved successful enough to have them change the rosters for their staff patrollers to cover early and late shifts. No escape now.0

Excellent. I hate having to dodge morons who can't be bothered to park properly.0
