  • The Ramada Plaza in Southport is a new build, so the public areas are disabled friendly, and it has special rooms, quoting:

"It includes seven accessible double rooms and it is fully kitted out to cater for everything that a disabled person might require, such as low level light switches, wet rooms with various refinements and alarms in the bathroom and bedrooms."

I've stopped in the hotel a few times and like it.

The surrounding area is flat, so you and husband should be able to get around a bit.

Some good shopping a couple of hundred yards away in Lord Street, as well as the usual resort attractions which are beside the hotel.

Plenty of free covered parking in the hotel's basement car park.
  • have a look on google for 'the good access guide' (sorry I can't post links) they have a list of suitable accommodation up and down the UK
  • Most hotels if you request well in advance have reasonable rooms however, a more specialist would be possibly more ideal for you both at the minute as someone else said search accesible hotels.

The New Mayfair Hotel in Blackpool is a very good hotel. Cant post a link im afraid.

hope you have a great time whereever you end up!

most hotels will have rooms available, focus in on where you want to go, and that will narrow the list.
