Morning folks
Not sure if I'll manage a NSD today as it's my first day back at both work and Fat Club so misery all roundI normally go to Morrisons on my way to Fat Club as the reductions there are normally good at the time I'm passing....unlike my local one
Will update later on and let you know how I got on!0 -
Good Morning,
Just checking in to report NSD #3 yesterday. :T And 3 in a row.
As I am staying off work today due to being poorly sickI am hoping for another one today. I won't be going anywhere very far away from the comfort of my own bathroom IYKWIM

Thanks for all your posts re work - your support really means a lot!
Today I've decided to start at my proper time of 9am and I will be leaving at 5 on the dot. I have managed to have a leisurely breakfast, made my packed lunch and done a bit of tidying up.
I have a hospital appt today too - so I'll be nipping out @ 10.30 and I'll just take my own sweet time getting back to the office;)
We had a lovely night with Dad, we all had a good laugh and it was great! Think he enjoyed it too - he had a couple of wee drams and was looking very "rosy" when we left!;)
Hoping for another NSD today - only plan to spend fares and they dont count!
Have a lovely day everyone:)
you will always be rich enough to be generous.0 -

The rules are up to you on what you do / don't include. For instance I don't count direct debits, petrol (there's one day a week I go past a station where it's considerably cheaper) or milk. Some people have pots for allocating money such as gym money, or child care and so long as they don't go over that allocation it's not a spend.
Personally, as it's an essential cost I wouldn't count it as a spend, so long as you don't spend on anything else that day.
HTH xx
Thanks Kerri
In that case, Tuesday 3rd January - 2nd NSD!! 2/10

eh up!
NSD number 2 in the bag yesterday!
Today I am going to sort out my gym membership thing, I have been a student member there in the past but am no longer a student, so full adult price time... Thankfully as I mostly work evenings and weekends the off-peak hours suit me, which is a bit cheaper! Still, most of my local friends go there so it'll be quite sociable, and I am feeling a bit flobbery at the moment! (I'm not very good at self-motivation, I have discovered lately :rotfl: )
So I have a request, ladies and gentlemen... If you spot me saying things such as "I couldn't be bothered to go to the gym/pool today" or "I spent so much time doing so-and-so (e.g organising photos, cleaning the sideboard with a toothbrush, you know the kind of procrastination tasks...) I ran out of time to go to the gym" please, for heaven's sake, get the kippers out! I simply can't justify the expense if I go any less than three times a week... even though the spa there is very nice!“Obstacles are those frightful things you see when you take your eyes off your goals.”
