New job is going well, they tend to do a bit of socialising every month or so as well so I went on my first one Friday night, to a comedy show which was really good surprisingly. I dont drink alcohol (i'm allergic not an alcoholic lol) so I drove and then had drinks bought for me. and then my boss bought me one so didnt spend a penny all night, bargain lolMPs left feb '08 276- Dec 13 36 :T MB Jan 10 ~ £82,377 Dec 13 ~ £29987

This month wont be so good as have treated myself to a new fab camera as a treat for my birthday and have booked a long weekend away in August in a wood cabin in north norfolk for me and kids and the dog.
Also having the house finally brick pointed next weekend so will have to use my savings to pay for that. I'll miss having that money in my bank

Pammy you are superb, I don't know how you do it :T.A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

hi, have been a lurker for such a long time on mse, (if it hadn't been for this site, I don't know how we'd have gotten through the last few years when the shtf) not in a position just yet to OP my mortgage (hideously in arrears, only managed to start full payments 4 months ago), must get the rest of the debt finished first, have a very long way to go but just had to congratulate you on your journey, you are such an inspiration :TCredit card €7892.36/€ 0

Thank you KBL, so sorry I didnt see your post last month, I rarely come onto my thread these days, only really to update. I never seem to have the time. You can only start OPing when you feel you are ready and in the financial position to be able to do so. Good luck with it.
Last months OPs wasnt anywhere near as good as the month before. I only OPd £250 as I had my house repointed which cost a fair whack and bought a new camera for my photo hobby and a fab printer for my ebay stuff.
Have started this month with a bang to hopefully catch up with an OP of £370 and taken another month off my EMFD. It is now April 2018 which is 4 years 10 months. Doesnt sound too bad really. Each year I OP I try and lose a year off that date so I am really really really trying to keep that up.
I am now 60% of my £6k target so on track for my annual target but the MFiT I am behind by £372 (just given my mortgage balance on that thread) and from my SS I see that I am 15.83% of my balance paid and should be 16.66% so not far behind target for that but if I dont catch up that difference will keep pulling apart!!
I have been quite silly with money lately, I dont know what is up with me. I think because ebay sales were doing well I had the extra money coming in and wasnt so worried but I need to reign (sp) that in!MPs left feb '08 276- Dec 13 36 :T MB Jan 10 ~ £82,377 Dec 13 ~ £29987
