You could also hire a car if needed for a weekend etc, a lot of hire car firms are on cashback sites as well.

I hadn't realised this thread had moved to diaries so glad I found it again
I saved £10 off my shopping on monday thanks to sainsbury sending me a code, also saved £30 on 3 weeks worth of bus tickets for my son going to school. Oh just remembered I made £31 on an ebay sale yesterday and have a lot more finishing over the next few days. I have also sent off my application for the water sure scheme so hoping to save some money on my water bills soon.

Sweets ... I'd echo what the others have said, if its possible for you to do without too much hassel ... that's alot just for 1 months insurance :eek:

Finally my first Voucher has landed on the doormat :j That's a nice little £10 to nudge me off the blocks .. added to the £2 I've put in the dino kitty from the money off coupon thats £12 so far - must remember to update my sig :cool:

Still waiting on other bits to clear into account or land on the mat ... so hopefully that will increase soon.:o

It's the insurance on our existing car that runs out on 4th Feb, but we aren't getting our new car until 1st March. So in order to keep our old car up until the new one coming, it turns out we'd have to pay £124 insurance and £26.50 cancellation fee for ending it early.
So I don't know whether cost wise it would be better to just not have a car at all for the month and get rid of our old car beg Feb to save insuring it again.

So the options are pay £150 for less then a month (normal insurance payment was £61/mth) or get rid a bit early and make do without a car until new one comes 1st of March.

Hope that makes more sense, I don't half waffle do I

Have you looked into short term insurance? You could get a policy just for the month. Should be a lot cheaper than £150.

Remembered and then got the courage to ask somebody for £20 I lent them a month ago, so I am going to count that and put it in my savings. Hope that's ok, I think I can count it because I had written off my chances of getting it back!

Everning everyone. You are all so much more motivated than me. I promised myself I would come home and relist on ebay and sort out the three bin bags i have off stuff to list. But I am sat here in my pjs staring at the wall. Thank God its friday tomorrow!!

I have a measly 12.73 to report which is a combination of ebay, superpoints and swagbucks. But hey still more than I had. Its all going off the debt.

I have also sold something on amazon but I won't count that until I get the money or I will end up counting it twice!

Now to get myself off the sofa.... hmmmmm

have aload of black bags to sort out as teenage son had a very big clear out of his room dvds,all psp games some not even open all brand label clothes ( oh how i wish i new how to do ebay son says he will show me prob be next amas by then:rotfl:


prob just take to one of them clothes shops theres one round my way paying 80p a kilo at the minute.
