Hello to everyone & huge welcome to all those embarking on this challenge for the first time. :)

I am jumping in with both feet for the new year (and my 3rd month of this challenge) and going for £10 a day. Looks like I am going to have to save an additional 2k this year to pay for our family to go abroad on Boxing Day for a week of sun and relaxation to celebrate the in laws 60th birthday. It is a lay out we could do without on one hand, but on the other they will only be 60 once and time with family is the most precious thing in the world, so with forward planning required I will need to get my butt into gear this year!!

Did not quite make it for my Dec target but I was being lazy and expected the money fairy to deposit free cash into my bank account........nope! It didn't happen!! So, need to get my finger out and earn some.

My none sale shopping halo has slipped this morning :A :rotfl:!!!! Just ordered a trouser suit and pair of shoes for work from the next online sale which was just under £50 for the lot and I have justified it as it is actually something I needed. Right........confession over & have a good day everyone.
  • Returning after a protracted absence to aim for £20 a day in January.

If I can manage this, it will pay all January's bills without me dipping into my savings. And I thought if I post on here, it will hold me to it. :)

    I'm planning on:-
    • ebay and etsy listings
    • listing business books on Amazon
    • an indoor car boot if I can find one
    • ditching my never played CDs to a certain Magpie...
    • Qu!dcoing like a good-un

    Phew!

Making an early declaration of £19.71 Qu!dco due in January.

    Good luck everyone.
  • I am going to join in too! Aiming for the £10 a day as i have to pay £340 this month for my pram at mothercare, baby came 1 month early so need to get it paid off asap,

Fingers crossed or else i will be carrying her everywhere!

  • Please put me down for £8/day... feel that £5 may be not enough of a challenge, but £10 too much!
