Ohh how exciting!! Do keep us posted :D

Nothing to add yet, however my mam has just given me a £6 off £40 spend for MrT's so i have that to look forward to at the weekend. Also just found out this morning at work that our payrise has been agreed (about 1p per hour, lol) but it is to be backdated from August. Its ment to be on this months pay so might have an extra couple of quid at the end of the month :rotfl: Still, better in my pocket than theirs!! :p

Got my stuff listed on ebay (well some of it). Its all on 10 day auctions so i won't have anything there to add for a little bit.

Has anyone else heard about the paypal mastercard thingy?? More like a pre-paid one, so any money that goes into paypal you can now access with the card. Just wondered if it was worth getting. It would mean i could pay some debt straight away instead of having to transfer to my back account, which always has the risk of me spending it :o

I'm so bored today. I have LOADS to do, but can't find the motivation. Been to work this morning to do some overtime and i'm back in tonight :( My house is a tip but i just can't be bothered. Kids all at school and all i wanna do is put my feet up and float about this website! Its far to addictive! Think i might log off, do some housework till 1.30pm, prepare the tea then pop back on for a treat before the school run then back out to work :rotfl:

Hope everyone is having a nice day.... Sun is shining brightly in my neck of the woods! :D

I'm busy working hard at the day job. Lunch break now though:jand just won a 25 point bonus referral on superpoints (will be in the referral thread if anyone wants). 20 points off another $5 paypal :D.

Just as well my swagbucks has been so slow lately I'm struggling to get £5 a week from it for the last couple of weeks.

  • Hi,

Not quite sure how this all works....

So here goes, I have manged by moving some things around (and my husband being off sick) to save £104 on my sons nursery fees (would have been more if the doc had signed him off again next week last week when i booked him in!!) so does this count? also I complained to Tesco Credit Card, about a bank charge they gave me (they hadn't been billing me so simply forgot) so they agreed to refund me the charges, and also reimburse £10 as the guy taking my payment was sooooo rude (this was all agreed last month) I got my bill through this morning, and they hadn't applied it, so I argued a bit so got a further £10 back from them so have saved £20 (£32 if you include the reimbursement of bank charges) does all this count??

Or is it things like saving money by not buying my lunch packing myself up etc - or making money from ebay etc?

 gah just went to put my receipt in APG and found the supervisor has scanned my milk twice  so I have paid for 3 bottles, instead of 2. That means will have to go back there and hope they believe me and give me my money back:mad:

Lotte, if the money you have saved and got from Tesco through their bad customer service, if you can put this towards bills/creditors/debts, etc then I would include it.

It is hard, because the purpose of this thread is to make extra money and people like to count money saved. But my mantra is if you save money but can physically put that money somewhere, saving account, holiday fund, debt/bills/creditors etc then I count it.

I make savings on my shopping but don't count it as I don't physically transfer the money to anything.
