Just went back to the hot uk deals website and others have said the same - no vouchers. seems like it was a bit of a con
I'm going to e-mail and ask but think I've been had! :mad:0 -
Grrrr....what is up with the ebayers at the moment? I have just sold my old iphone for the second time as the first person never paid up. Now the second buyer hasn't paid either - I'll wait another couple of days but I wish they'd hurry up my target is relying on them!
Have a great weekend people!£10 a day challenge
£100.16/£3100 -
So some money I saved on my shopping yesterday: tesco multibuy of 'feminine hygeine products' buying three single packs instead of the double pack I normally buy the third pack costing £1.69 less than the same amount would have.
Also saved 79p on diet coke by buying at Jack Fulton's instead of Tesco. So I'll tranfer those savings over to my savings accounts and count them in my totals.0 -

Hey guys, I am so pleased all of you are doing so well. I am struggling. Big time.
I have an ebay query. this is the last time I will sell anything on ebay. The last three or four things I have sold have either not turned up (yeah right) or are damaged. Trust me they weren't!
Anyway a person has just messaged me informing me that a dress is broken (she claims bits are hanging off it) and dirty. I know for certain it was not. She has demanded a refund of the item which I will be happy to give however she wants me to pay for her postage aswell to cover the cost of her returning it to me. Do I have to do that? I sold it with free posting so it cost her nothing in the first place. Even when you buy from a shop you have to pay for your own return posting don't you?
To be honest I no longer even care about my perfect star rating because I hate ebay so much right now.
So basically I'm asking, what would you do? Would you give her the money back plus the cost of her postage to return it?
Thanks!Make £5 a day in May £51.05/£1550 -

Hi I would definately ask her to fund the return and let her know that after you receive the item you will assess it and if it is indeed in the state she says you will refund her the actual cost price. I never refund second hand items as they are sold as described / seen in pictures. There is an option to put your refund policy on your listing. As you are not a shop you can refuse returns. Entirely up to you. I find if you tell them to return items they generally stop lying and admit they didnt fit / like it etc....
Personally I would continue to sell on ebay as I love money coming in BUT I would put no returns on the adverts small print next time. That way you are **** proof.
Hope she admits the truth soon!
and seeing as the customer pays the postage I always send items recorded delivery...stop the lies and deceit some buyers can be prone too! (last year some £80+ leather boots went missing in the post...apparently... then they miraculously reappeared on the buyers ebay page as a seller a few weeks later!!!)x

Awww :A Aren't they innocent... if life were so simple, bless his little heart
Saved £22 today because DH complained at DD's party because to be frank the food was carp... so the £22 I'd budgeted to pay for the extra two children we got away withThat's gone straight in my stash

£1.36 roadkill found under sofas.... DS.......
and his home/nursery book that has been missing for 3 weeks. I knew he had had it last. DH was blaming it on me, told him I had turned house upside down. if only I could find my engagement ring!
DS loves this sofa, we bought it when he was due to be born, and ever since, he has not stopped playing with it. Last time I couldn't find his hat, he had hidden it under the cushions! This will teach me to be more houseproud and hoover and lift cushions on sofa and under sofa more than once a month!
