Sweetpeas - how good is your son? Very impressed!! :rotfl:

Aesop - Good idea on swapping that appointment. Sounds "Ouch" to say the least.

Finally a big "KEEP GOING" :money: to everyone finding it slow going getting to target this month. I am fairly sure January is one of the toughest months. Ebay sales generally always seem to be a lot slower.

I might as well go the whole hog with a full on cheesy comment - you gotta be in it to win it and even if you only get 25% of your target that is a darn site more £££ than you would have had if you had not tried at all. (OK - cheese over - will stop now I promise:rotfl:).

No more updates to add, although I've obviously been teaching DS well as the £3.50 I borrowed off him last night (didn't get paid till today and it was DD's dancing last night and I didn't have a penny to my name! :o) beings as DS is on a massive 'save' at the moment I had to ask him to borrow it... he only asked me for £5 back to cover *ahem* 'admin costs and interest rates' ... :rotfl: Bless. I was so impressed I gave him the £5 :rotfl:

He sounds very bright Sweets! And you have just reminded me i owe my daughter £5. :o

Sorry if it's already been asked, I am trying to catch up! :o Nonudo, would you mind telling me abit more about this, please? :)

beccie: More about which bit, hun, the forum posting, blog commenting or blogging?

MELLA: I noticed you asked about blogging.

I'll explain all in case beccie was asking of all three.

Forum posting: similar to what we're all doing now in this forum, 'xcept for payment. There's a site I use called PaidForumPosting.com. Sources lots of forum owners that want threads and posts. Pays 20 cents a post for min 25 words (just under 13p a post). Not much but better than some rates I've seen, plus it adds up. They're looking for people now, so if you want to apply, click here. You'll be asked to provide 7 trial posts in their forum to see what your writing's like. Then they'll review and let you know if you're in.

Blog commenting: Some blog owners look for people to add a bit of life to their blogs and encourage discussion, particularly for new blogs or dormant ones being revived by their owners. Which is where you come in. You read and comment on their blog posts. // For blog commenting gigs, I scour a site called Digital Point forums, 'specially their Content Creation section. Pay can vary from 10-50 cents a post and sometimes more. Words per comment can vary too: 25-50 words a comment or more. Just depends on who it is and what you can negotiate. PaidForumPosting.com also has a couple of blog commenting gigs from time to time.

Blogging: Providing blog posts for blog owners, sometimes as yourself, sometimes ghost-written (often the latter in my case, which I don't mind at all). Again, I've gotten most of my blogging gigs via Digital Point. The pay really does vary, from very low to respectable to really good. Don't go for less than $0.01/word; make that the very minimum. The ones that pay really well don't usually advertise their rates. Either that or it's up to you to approach them with your rate and negotiate (and/or dig your heels in!)

Just claimed another 3 amazon vouchers on swaggers the past couple of days so hopefully i will get them in before the end of the month. Few more sales on fb making my total now £404.97/500 + charity one now £85/155 (got a lovely donation of £20 and some more things to sell or auction as well :) so pleased about that.

Need to get myself a bit more organised with own earnings - am still avoiding ebay but lots of other things i could be doing and am not but i have started to do some surveys again even though i find them really hard to concentrate on.

Been having weird dreams - the latest one being about trying to look after 10 puppies all at once and they kept getting lost, but while i was out looking for them i kept finding pennies on the ground - took me ages to figure out it was a dream lolololol
