Hi Everyone,
Just wondered if anyone knows of somewhere you can loan a large cat cage. Thor has a broken pelvis and needs 6 weeks bed rest. It needs to be large enough to house bed and litter tray and a bit of shuffling room.
Have tried Vets but they want £90 for 2 days??!!!!
Also tried PDSA...no can do.
Thanks guys
Suzanne

£90 for two days?! You can buy one for less than that. Try Freecycle and telephone the charity shops near your house.
Poor Thor. My boy broke his in the summer but, despite being miserable for the first few days, soon recovered.0 -
Cheers snozberry,
Will do that tomorrow:-)))
Vet bill is over £300 so really can`t buy one:-((((0 -
Yeah mine was huge as well. When you do get one, drape a few blankets over it because the bars disorientated my cat. He couldn't cope with it but the blankets calmed him down.
Whereabouts are u?0 -
When a colleague's cat broke his pelvis, I hunted on Ebay to find her a cheap dog crate. You can often find them BIN for £10-20 for the smaller sizes - I've even picked up an XL one for £1.50 but in your case you're limited for time so might not find quite such a bargain.0

Try Gumtree as well - there's a few for sale on ours at the minute.
Pants to your vet .... mine let me borrow one when Mia needed it - I had to pay a deposit but got it back when it was returned.

Whereabouts are you? If you don't want to say, you could PM me. I've got one that I bought to bring Winnie from Spain. It's large, medium dog size.
Best wishes to Thor, poor boy xx0 -
I bought a small Mikki crate for my puppy and it was less than £30 delivered.:j Proud Member of Mike's Mob :j0

I had to get one for my dog when he was a puppy and it was only £25 delivered.0

Same here, I've got a small dog crate if you need it, just depends where abouts you are.0
