This is my one of my favourite bits of sending 85p every day to my card. Feels a bit naughty, but totally legit. :)

A friend of mine works in a bank, and we once exchanged £10 between our accounts in 10p increments after he suggested it probably cost about the same each time we did it. I wonder what it does cost?

I'd like to think it cost them more to print a statement for 4p, post it to me and process the payment :rotfl:

Another £6.77 this week for me. That's over £123 now!

Plus, on a really big note my washing machine broke down last week and I've managed to replace it without having to put it on the credit card! :j This is a really big deal for me, but not many other people would understand, apart from maybe here!

Rather than pay off one of your cards and maybe jeopardise your DMP (I don't know if that would happen) can you make an extra payment into a "pot" or savings account to make a big final or lump sum payment?

Hi Naomi, yeah this was something i was thinking about but if i have it in a pot i might spend it, or i was thinking i may alternate the payments between the cards, i don't think i'll be managing to overpay a great deal each week anyway so a few pounds every few weeks i'm sure the creditors won't worry too much about that
