  • Made my first Extra payment a week. £5.00 off my Halifax CC saved by walking to work and not putting so much diesel in the car.

Right, first time posting on this thread! I have been inspired and have decided that my approach will be to pay the amount of 'savings' from my grocery shop (multi buys etc) as I am buying it anyway and would have spent the money. This week alone I have managed to make additional payments of £5.46 and £6.26, it really does add up!

Hi welcome:wave: it's amazing how quickly it all adds up and everyone here is inspiring to me and keeps me on track
Debt free as of 29.10.2020 🎉😁

  • Hi all :hello:

Just found this challenge and think its brilliant.

I found the payment a day a little hard for me as not always a lot of wiggle room with spare money being on a DMP so a payment a week is fantastic for me.

Read through the whole thread and you have all done brilliantly, a little soon mounts up to something.

    £3.00 for me today :j

Hi jub and welcome, it soon adds up, I did a payment a day and it was great seeing all this payments on my statements and really made a difference as i paid of one of my cards this way, but now I have changed job I can't get on every day so this is great for me too.

Looks lovely and clean outside with all the snow...... Not looking forward to walking the dog
  • Doen my payment for this although its a bit late but its £5.40 off one of cards, as I am rounding down to nearest £5 / £10, I felt like the payment should be more than .40p lol
