Is it possible to transfer a Virgin Media landline number to Sky?

I couldnt find the answer to this on the forums. Am thinking of leaving VM for Sky as they seem to have a good half price offer on their broadband for 6 months at the moment.

I have a phone and internet package at the moment.

It should be possible, but you never know with VM-was it originally a BT number ported to them? Check with Sky.
Bear in mind that you will need a BT landline installing or reconnecting in order to move away from VM cable, you can't switch using the existing cable supply.

Hi, I dont have a BT line but sky can set one up for me.

Indeed, but this is chargeable work (the actual provision is done by BT OR, who charge Sky).
