Door Canopy brackets

These seem to be unavailable, I'm thinking of a pair of metal scroll (or straight) brackets to support a small piece of corrugated PVC sheeting over a small rear door entrance. Advertised door canopies with PVC brackets cost £80 + which seems excessive.

Pretty easy to get knocked up at a local fabrication shop, but by the time you've had anything other than a strip of flat bar, and painted, your looking easily at £80.
Timber, and a few simple joints could be a cheap option....?0 -
try ebay.
wooden brackets cost about 30/40 quid per pr.Get some gorm.0 -
Do you think aluminium flat bar will work as it's easier to bend and drill and no maintenance needed ?
Also now seen some TV aerial/satellite wall fixing long brackets that might be suitable.0 -
Ally flat will be in either grade 6063 or 6082, Neither will be that easy to bend by hand, unless you have something quite flimsy, then its probably not really up to the job..0
