No I have never been able to use Outlook on my current computer so use AOL for email etc. I have got a private message which I am not able to open for some reason. I am going to go to PC World and see what they have. Still want to buy ASUS I think as I have gleaned from the Forum that for the money I want to spend they are probably my best bet.
Thanks once for the sound advice!

Thanks again for all the advice. As I said I didn't like the appearance of the ASUS X54 H SX 270V
I did see 2 others that looked better the ASUS X53E SX947V
 and the Asus X53E SX1186V
They are £399 and £449 any views on either of these One has less HD ? 350 and the other is i5 with 750 HD I think this is correct.
 Thanks again

The Sony laptops do have a good keyboard. The processor specification on the Asus for £450 is slightly better.
To be honest, a laptop for £350 would be more than adequate for what you want to do.
Computer technology is rapidly changing and laptops aren't very upgradeable. I understand you want something reliable. Both Asus and the higher end Sony laptops are.If my post hasn't helped you, then don't click the 'Thanks' button! 0 0
