Does anyone know of charities that take donations of unwanted kitchen equipment - I don't have much but some plates and pans etc that we have just upgraded from some wedding presents.
I looked on the Salvation Army website but couldn't find any information. I thought there might be someone who would want them for, I don't know, homeless people setting up in their own home or something like that.
Alternatively, I could donate them to a charity shop but there is no real value in them, only usefulness.
Any help / direction appreciated.

Our local womens aid shelter take household items for women who are about to go into their own new homes. Our local council website has details of where to donate to. Perhaps you have a similar scheme locally?

Good thought, have emailed a local one to see if they can make use of them.
Many thanks0 -
Definitely try Women's Aid - I donated my cots, prams and other baby items a few years ago, when I completed my family. Some women leave home with just the clothes they stand up in, so WA are usually grateful for anything in decent condition that helps families back on their feet.0
