Storage solution in Surrey area

Our house is going onto the market and the estate agent has suggested that we clear it off all the junk! As we're renting a small flat at the moment we need to find a cheap secure storage solution in the surrey area ?

Thanks
Z

You are calling it junk but you want to spend your hard earned cash storing it??

Ask yourself if you really want it in your eventual new home.
What you could do is have a good clearout, sell no longer needed items on ebay or at a car boot and save the cash to furnish your home with items that fit in with the style of your new house.

If you have to keep this stuff make sure it is worth paying the fee for. Be ruthless if you haven't used it in a year or it doesn't fit you sell it or give it away or even take it to the tip.

I don't know how much storage companies charge in Surrey but I know there are several of them around. Not sure which part of Surrey you are in but I have seen them in Weybridge area.

  • I do intend to bin most of it with a good clear out (should give the local oxfam shop some interesting things to sell!). The remaining junk is going to be the books, CD's, DVD's, computers, printers etc. As there is so much and it is now going into boxes it makes the home feel cluttered.

We're in the woking area ( so weybridge is only a short drive).

    Thanks

  • Thanks for the YellowStorage link, we'll take up the offer once the house is sold and we need to store the larger items.

In the meantime I have managed to persuade my employer to provide me with some space for a few months at no cost! :)

    Cheers

There is a branch at Byfleet.

That's the one I've seen, our HQ is on Brooklands so I've driven past it a few times. Good news about your boss offering to give you some space. Good luck with the move.
