Car insurance- adminstrative charges

I recently contacted my car insurance provider to change my contact details as we had moved house. I was told there would be a £20 administrative charge for this! This charge is not indicated anywhere on my insurance forms. Where do I stand? I know it is only a relatively small amount but no-one else has charged me to change my address! Any advice greatly appreciated.

Who are you insured with, it will be in the T&C's of the policy booklet.

Its what you get if you choose a provider that aims for a lower premium but having explicit admin charges rather than one with a higher premium and no admin charges.

Yeah there isn't really much you can do about this. It will be buried deep within the paperwork somewhere if you look hard enough.

Phoning them up and whining might get them to waive the charge as a goodwill gesture if you're lucky.
