Received a call from homebase this morning about issues flagged up on their systems with an order I placed.
Tried to place the order on Monday via Quidco but the webpage failed to load when I got to the confirmation page. Tried again, with no luck. OH suggested there was an issue with quidco and the verified by visa section as he had simular issues with the trainline website.
Waited until Tuesday. No email confirmation, payments taken, confirmation through quidco or points on my nector account. Re-ordered without using quidco, went through fine got confirmation email with order number.
The phone call was to check the orders I had placed, informing me two were to be delivered tomorrow and there was a third on the system. Explained the issues had with website and caller then cancelled delivery for Tues next week, issuing a refund. He couldn't cancel one of tomorrows deliveries as it was already loaded but recommended accepting one, then refusing delivery of the second and calling back after for refund on second. He also gave me the order numbers to enable me to claim refund as I've still not received confirmation email for first two.
