never hired a car !

oh well here goes -i've never hired a car ,but now need to hire a car for 2 days in Glasgow ,from the airport ...Any advice at all would be appreciated :j

    Don't get ripped off with regards to petrol. Make sure you get a deal that allows you to have a full tank when collecting and return it with a full tank. Check the car over when collecting and point out EVERY bit of damage, scratches, etc to the car hire company that you find BEFORE driving away. Look carefully at the insurance terms.
