214-218) 3 bags of assorted rubbish and 2 empty screen wash bottles from the borrowed van _pale_ while trying to find the jack. Sadly, no jack.

6 barrow-loads of bramble n nettles decluttered - river bank at bottom of garden.

Had a break on Saturday, when it got too hot in the afternoon, and decided to make bread! A rare afternoon when my kitchen was warm enough to enable to dough to rise! :rotfl: Turned out to be the best I've ever made, despite using Mr M's cheapest plain flour and his fresh yeast. I made a loaf, (which I finished for breakfast this morning, with hm butter,) and 8 rolls - I decluttered 2 to a friend.

Today I have sorted out some packets of flower seeds to declutter to a friend, when I get to the PO later this week, and more packets that I am decluttering by sowing later, after my wholemeal loaves go in the oven. Shall add to my total when they're posted/ used.

This evening, I shall be decluttering hm wholemeal bread! :rotfl:

I've had a good decluttering day. A whole carload to the tip, everyone seemed to have the same idea as the place was full of people. I've revamped my hallway, it now looks much better just needs a good hoover and for my mum to sort her stuff out! She is finally slowly getting on the bandwagon of this decluttering as she wants to decorate this weekend. I'm deconstructing 3 computers this evening and shredding all my brothers old paperwork. Got loads more to do in the house and garden, will tackle the dreaded shed one day. Would be nice to have it all tidy as it was my playhouse and would love to see my nephew in it when he's a bit older.

I've been working on my spreadsheet again. It's fun, I can see that I make £2.20ish on average per item. Not too bad.

I did some sorting out in the shed last week. In the back corner we had a pile consisting of an old dvd player with speakers, 2 old cd players from a stacking system and a record player, all of which we have been meaning to put on freecycle for a while, so I finally got them out and offered them. So far only the dvd player and speakers have gone, but I do have a few people interested in the other stuff so hopefully they will be gone soon, but won’t count them until they’ve actually gone.

Also while in the shed I found 2 broken bird feeders which I decided were beyond repair, a pair of ripped gardening gloves, a piece of rope off of an old tree pruner which is long gone, and a few other bits of rubbish which were all binned. I found 3 identical sets of tools for scraping weeds out from between paving, (2 pieces in each set) and a few pairs of secateurs, so I’ve taken one of the sets and a pair of secateurs to my dad’s, so we don’t have to keep taking ours with us when we go round to do his garden.

I also found a new wiper blade for a car I no longer own, so that has gone in for CS, and on Saturday I posted 6 ebay parcels, which also got rid of 4 jiffy bags, some pieces of bubble wrap and parcel wrapping paper from my stash. Despite it going slowly I’ve finally reached my 100 for this month, yay!

I have had a great declutter of paperwork! I have a large metal box file that I just have been throwing any bank statements, bills, contracts, letters, cards etc. in for the last few years without filing anything Needless to say this made looking for anything a time consuming task.

I spilled everything out on the floor and ended up throwing out the vast majority of it. It felt great tearing everything up. There was so much unneeded stuff like old rental agreements and virgin media bills from 2007. The box is very light now and everything is filed properly. It feels like a weight off my mind, the mess had been annoying me for ages.

:D By gum, don't know if I'm going to make the 100. I have a small home and am relatively decluttered anyway, but will give it a go.

69. Part-bag of cat litter; Freecycle.
70. Fancy bowl
71. Fancy plate (both c.s.)
72. V. attractive photo album, unused, back to the c.s.
73. Lawn-edger, Freecyle.
74. Book, back to friend who loaned it to me.
75. Item of clothing c.s.
76. Folder of confidential paperwork; shedded and worn out cardboard folder into the recyc.

76/100 in May.

Hi everyone,

I've just finished a load of ironing, yes even in this heat it has to be done! Now enjoying a well deserved break:A

I will tackle a kitchen cupboard later. I expect to find out of date dried pulses and beans which I never remember to soak the day before because I impulse cook rather than plan ahead.

Keep up the good work girls, oooh am I being sexist? are there men in this decluttering thread?

Ps. A friend kindly thought of me whilst clearing her Aunts home and gave me all her sewing bits n bobs - how could I say no. Boxes of the stuff!
