Anyone use Costco Kirkland soap powder-quantities?

Options
Bought a tub of the above a couple of days ago,but am confused about the amount to use (with their measuring cup).Their cup quotes 5/8 of a cup as measurement 1,but the tub says use 1/4 of a cup (obviously 2/8 s ) this is hardly any...is this right?

We use a tablespoon for a very dirty load otherwise a teaspoonful. I also use this powder for cleaning stainless steel sink washing the kitchen floor and lots of other cleaning jobs around the house. Its great for shower doors and cleaning the bath. The massive tub lasts us about a year and a half even with my son borrowing a tub of it now and again to top his soap powder supply- he forgets he's not a student anymore and should buy his own :rotfl:

I use 1cm in the bottom of the provided scoop. The poweder is for much larger US machines and so stronger than our UK powders. A bucket of powder lasts at least 18 months in our house.

How much does this bucket cost? Must admit, although I am a Costco member I rarely look in that section!

Ours was about £9 and we got it about 6 months ago. All laundry powder seems to be cheap at Costco though.

We nearly bought it but ended up with surf tropical biological instead... was about the same cost wash by wash but smells nice... it is biological tho... so some people might not want to use it :)
