Travelling abroad - Cover for stolen bag or broken valuable items?

Friends,

I am planning to have couple of holiday trips to abroad on this year.

Does travel insurance cover stolen bags on abroad or broken valuable items like iphone, ipad or camera...etc

I do see travel insurances cover tickets, baggage missed by airline..etc.

I want in to cover, when im spending my holidays in abroad.

Lots of travel insurance policies will cover these items up to a certain amount but will be subject to an excess fee which can vary hugely. So the cheapest might not be the best if a high excess would outweigh the value of your valuables.

Check your home contents insurance. You may have personal possesions cover which would cover your valuables for loss or damage abroad up to a certain amount.
