Tbh for £10 you're better of buying a prosecco. Waitrose have a nice one on offer for £6.99 - tastier than some champagnes imo.
All the supermarkets seem to bring out these unheard of champagnes at Christmas to sell at half price.
The only decent offer I've picked up is the Heidsieck Dry Monopole Blue Top - genuinely nice champs.

Agreed about Heidsieck Monopole - it's a genuinely good champagne (less of the nasty Chardonay edge) and at that sort of price is an absolute steal! I've bought a case and will be enjoying the bargain for a long while (contrary to received wisdom, decent champagne, even the NV type, keeps well as long as it's stored cool and on its side).

I vote for the 9.99 Lidl bottle. Make sure you buy the right one though - they have others that are more expensive but not as well recommended.
