One Big Holiday or lots of little ones????

Help! I need a break!!!

I really need some advice here, it has been five years since I was last on holiday and I have been working my butt off to be able to save up lots of pennies to go away and relax in style.

The problem is now I cant decide whether to go for lots of little long weekends or wether to go for a full blown two weeks of luxary somewhere far far away!!!

Any ideas?? Of course if anyone has any mega cheap deals that will allow me to do both they are most welcome too!!! :D

Thanx

Tammi x

With bmibaby and easyJet offering flights from the North East as well as the charter airlines, there is a good choice of destinations.
Perhaps a 9 or 10 night holiday and some long weekends.

I agree with Peanuts - something BIG!! Think you will get a good break then wheras after weekends away quite often you don't feel like you have had a bereak as you are trying to pack everything into a few days.

we prefer to have smaller holidays spread through the year, gives us something to look forward to :D

what about 2 ,weel long holidays of semi luxury ?
  • I just got 10 days in september for £250 in Benidorm - know not the most luxurious place but apparently nice beaches and thats what I'm after - SUN and relaxing, gone are the days when I could handle two weeks of hard partying, so slightly lively to go with it.
Then looking for a cheap week away in April.
I would definatley say two short hols, you can get such good deals nowadays and if you book one two weeks in the summer you'll look forward to it all year and it'll be over before it started.
By now after 5 years surely your really eagar to go - why not try to get somewhere for a week - 10 days soon and something in the summer for a week or 10 days ?

Just an idea - hope it's great whatever you decide.
  • Thanks All! Great advice.

I especially like the idea of two semi-long, semi-luxurious holidays, that way it will break up the year!

Mid May between the bank holidays and late September/ early October are generally cheaper times to go and the weather can be very good.
