Thanks John, maybe, I don't need to worry quite so much about my score. Cheers. You may question anything I say. Just be polite, otherwise you go straight on to my Ignore List, which funds a good old fashioned knees-up every Xmas. Cheers;)0

Although I do agree about the MSE way of finding free stuff.
Plenty out there, especially if you have the paitience (or fast enough connection) to grab a torrent or two
Just put the folder somewhere obscure incase you leave your laptop on unattended in front of anyone curious...

Though I'm not surprised, there are some very mean spirited people on this forum.
How can you say that when you've given us all the ammo to poke fun? If you didn't want "fun" comments, why did you tell us what you wanted the cash for?
I think you've been a bit unreasonable really.0 -
Well, it appears I've given some folk a good laugh. So I might as well join you.:DYou may question anything I say. Just be polite, otherwise you go straight on to my Ignore List, which funds a good old fashioned knees-up every Xmas. Cheers;)0

Lets not detract from the subject. Have I lowered my credit rating?.:rotfl:You may question anything I say. Just be polite, otherwise you go straight on to my Ignore List, which funds a good old fashioned knees-up every Xmas. Cheers;)0 -
It's all there; it won't do any harm in the long term, frequent use doesn't look good but at the same time there's evidence that having it doesn't mean no to new credit.
What more do you want to hear?!0 -

Lets not detract from the subject. Have I lowered my credit rating?.:rotfl:
In the eyes of some lenders, yes.
In the eyes of others, no.
Not all will view the data negatively. Not all will view it positively. No one knows who will frown upon the presence of payday loans, and who won't.
The best advice you can get is
"Chances are you've affected your credit rating in the eyes of some lenders for a while but there should be no negative impact at all after six to twelve months"

I'd say yes, but only slightly. Like applying for a credit card or overdraft. You've paid it back now hopefully, so as long as you have no more such, erm, urges , it should end up going higher than it was at the beginning as its further proof that you had access to credit and paid it back.Lets not detract from the subject. Have I lowered my credit rating?.:rotfl:0 -
Incidently, the comment about honesty was totally genuine. On these boards hardly any new posters simply lay the facts out as concisely as you have.0
