Aliance and Leicester

I had a personal loan from Aliance and Leicester about 8 years ago. I know it had PPI on it as they said i could not have the loan if i didnt.

The loan is paid in full and i would love to be able to claim the PPI back from them but i have no idea how to go about it!

Can any one tell me where to start

We also had a loan with them which we paid a monthly PPI premium, our loan ended in 2000 but we don't have the account no for it now.

Have you tried calling Santander?

i've had problems with Santander accepting A&L account claims. They say only some parts of A&L were taken over, such as mortgages and savings accounts, and the others disappeared, such as credit cards and loans.

Hi there

You can make a reclaim even if its paid off, and I understand that in regards of A&L, GE etc, Santander are dealing with these complaints, just make it clear when you do make the reclaiming complaint on what business your complaining about.
(In order for them to put the cases in the adequate pile).
