I have had a quick search but haven't found what I was looking for - hope this is the right place!

As I read the newsletter this morning I got to thinking - is there a place to swap freebies that just aren't for me? As an example - I picked up the Clinique lippie which is a fab bargain but as soon as I looked at the colour I knew it just wasn't for me and it has been sitting in my make up box feeling all sorry for itself.

I also have received a few other bits, and while my little one has been overjoyed getting the post, some of the items just aren't needed. And there is nothing I hate more than waste!

If there were somewhere I could let others know, I would be happy to send them to a new home. And who knows - perhaps someone out there really didn't like the Estee Lauder lippy and I could find more of that ;D

I keep seeing tht nobody has replied, so I thought I would say that this sounds like a ood idea - however I have nothing to swap at the mo!!
maybe if we have nice ladies things board we could have a swap shop thread!!!

In theory it does sound a good idea but you have to look to the legalities if a swap breaks down and it was arranged onsite at MSE. Technically it would be nothing to do with Martin and MSE but who would get the complaints, MSE.

I know you are talking about freebies here but someone could join in and not send anything on but just gather in then disappear only to reappear with a different user name.

Personally I have passed on several vouchers to people on MSE because I couldn't use them and am happy to continue doing that via pms.

Good point about those who don't return the favour.

I guess I wasn't necessarily thinking it all the way through......just thinking out loud as I thought it might be nice to have a place where I could just say "Who could do with my Clinique lippy?" I have only been here a short while but everyone here seems so nice I didn't even think that anyone would be anything other than sharin and carin
