£20 free for booking with Raileasy?

Hi All- think this is my first new thread, so BE KIND! ;)

Was looking on Raileasy.co.uk and they have an offer where you book and join some loyalty scheme and get £20- in the fine print (when you click offer details) it says you can CANCEL membership at anytime in the 30 days and keep the £20.

https://www.raileasy.co.uk/go/20-pound-cashback

they state:
Cancelling your membership: You are free to cancel your membership at any point by contacting Rewards First. If you decide to cancel your membership within the 30 day trial period, you will pay nothing. Regardless of whether you decide to cancel or not, you will keep the £20 cashback.

maybe useful for someone?? :money:

Laura, I hope that you will return and let us know how easy it is to cancel. I am sure that if you forget (or 'forget') to cancel that membership will end up costing a lot more than the twenty pounds.

  • I've seen this before but i do tend to forget to cancel so i didn't go for this one
  • Looks straightforward on the website- has a number to call or a bit to click (which can't be accessed before having a membership number).

I agree that it is important to remember to cancel, but the more challenging thing might be claiming the cash correctly- says to post the email to them as proof of purchase, and I imagine people would forget or not bother.

As with any 'deal' be sure to read the small print and to take not of when you did all the required bits...

I only found it because I was weighing up the cost difference of taking the family out by train vs. driving and paying parking.
