Comet's post-Christmas service - pants!

On 26th Dec I ordered a printer from them. Website said it would be delivered from 28th (wow, I thought, What good service!) and so I chose 28th as delivery day and waited in.

Needless to say it didn't come. Nor did my order show on their tracking page. I've had 3 emails: 1 to say I've an item in my basket I haven't paid for (wrong!), one to confirm my order and delivery date and another from paypal to confirm I've paid.

Item still isn't showing on tracking system.

I'm really frustrated and when I can get through on the phone will try to find out what's going on.

OK. The farce begins. A nice young man at Comet assures me that my printer WAS delivered yesterday...

That's OK, DK. I'm laughing too.

I knew when I placed the order on 26th that a delivery on 28th must be too good to be true, even if the confirmation email confirmed it.

I just didn't also know that
a)the online tracking wouldn't work (so there's no way at all of knowing what's going on or where it is)
b) Comet would say it had been delivered when it hasn't

Well done Comet for screwing up our chances of printing anything this side of the new year! :T:T (Knew I should have gone with Amazon or dare I say it MrT...).
