Sun Holidays 2012 Priority Code Request thread

I am not exactly sure where the list is up to now - but just to say i don't need a code anymore.

Thank You to all the generous MSE users who give their codes away on here rather than sell them on ebay.

Seriously though that's sad, certainly not something I can imagine MSE'ers doing

I can see why some people sell them, but I think it's out of order to post on here offering to sell, and probably against the rules.

Personally I'm glad people sell them, I have bought them a few times now, when a big family group all want the same holiday and we haven't got enough forms. I've also been given numbers by lovely people on here, and I have given mine away in the past too.

There's usually a community feel on these threads as we all try to guess the last code word, give each other advice about parks and journeys etc. but if somebody doesn't join in all that and just wants to make a few quid that's fine by me.

I've seen them selling for £35 BIN before though, that's just greedy

I just want to clarify that Sparrer's comment was not implying that he wanted to sell his/her code. Sparrer as a long time MSE'r has in the spirit of the forum passed his priority code on to someone else for free, they are just commenting that they did not know people sold them, and whilst i do understand that some people need to sell them and others need to buy them (to get their first Sun holiday when they can only do school holiday dates perhaps) BUT if everyone wanted to make £15 and sell them, then the whole spirit of this forum would be lost.

I have spent a lot of time the last few days giving help on the Sun holiday / Break Free holiday threads - the reason i do that is because a few years ago when we were really skint with 2 young kids i had heard about the Sun Holiday deals and came onto this forum to find out more (previously i only lived in the OS forum) - only to find that unless you had a priority booking reference number you had little chance of getting school holiday dates. However i joined the list - like the one above - and some kind MSE'r :A passed me a code for free and i had a cheap holiday in school holidays.

I am thankful and from doing the Sun holidays i found out about the Daily Mail / Break free ones (which don't require a priority code) and so have entered the world of multiple cheap holidays and i am eternally grateful to this forum for that knowledge.

To pay back the kind MSErs who gave me a priority code a few years ago i am quite happy to give my time to help others get these cheaper holiday deals.

So thanks to all who give codes away:T

and if you want to sell there is another site for that ....

but what goes around comes around..

I had a code but put my name on the list so that I could get one for my sister. She sent a message to the sun -and she was sent a code by email so I have removed my name from the list. I hope this helps others instead of paying for it!!
