Lidl / aldi toilet roll recommend ?

Hi Guys ,
I normally buy toilet roll ( andrex , Cushelle Toilet Tissue ) when on offer at any supermarket

I have started using Lidls for shopping more as we have one local, not aldi as much as we need the car to go there.

for 2012 i really want to makea positive effort to cut shopping costs and am doing well by down shifting brands

can anyone recommend a ( soft ) toilet roll from lidl / aldi / even home bargins or farmfoods ?

any advice would be great
thanks in advance

The Farmfoods one is called Nicky and I use that all the time - bought some Velvet Toilet Roll before xmas - horrible stuff!

  • Agree with the Nicky ones .... 18 for £3.99 @ Home Bar*gains (didn't realise you could get them in 12 packs - I've only ever seen them in 9 or 18 so may have to pop to Farm*Foods)!

    Sorry..rising fromthe ashes..you are correct...I meant 9 for £2. Ty dawnie..i couldn't think of brand name.
  • We use the Lidl "recycling" ones, 10 for £1.79 and they're 250 sheets per roll. Can't recall the name and have thrown out the pack, but I do know it is green, and the loo rolls are perfectly OK, not luxury but they do the job. Anything else is money down the drain.

I think it calls something like Floralis.... began with "F". I remember that this rolls were £1.39 in the beginning of the year.
    I would also recommend it.
