I wear Nora Dolomite boots. I work on farms and they are comfortable and warm and last a while. The tread goes after a while or they will eventually split, but considering the hours I wear them, they last a while.

You can find them on country type shops, or online eg here

    Hope that helps
  • They have some wellingtons and yard boots on here.

Also at the moment you can get a £5 voucher when you visit the site (a box should come up asking if you want a voucher emailed to you).
  • Must admit I had never heard of muck boots but they look ideal for our dog walks, going to treat myself to a pair, thanks :)

I've always opted for Derri boots myself, used them on the motorbike too in all weathers, some come fur lined so keep your feet toasted.

unfortunately it would seem they're quite popular

Another Muck boots convert here! Definitely no welly-rub as they are fairly snug to your leg (ok, I have chunky calves lol!) and soft neoprene type material at the top. Very comfy and supportive and warm like you wouldn't believe. I normally wear the chunky-soled Ugg boots all winterand for as long as I can in other seasons too. My Muck boots are the only things I've found to rival them for comfort and warmth and are much more supportive. MUCH comfier than my old Hunter wellies :)
  • Hi, if you fold over the tops of the wellies it stops them rubbing on the backs of your legs and prevents soreness.:)
  • As Sananne mentioned, in the spring/ autumn I fold the wellies down so they are more ankle boot types.
Don't wear them in the summer as they're too hot!
