Anyone else having trouble setting up Halifax Standing Orders?

So Santander application sorted for my brother & sister in order to bag £100 each for them.

Next one was my mum. Just been & tried to set up a couple bogus standing orders on her Halifax account (that is only used to bag the £5/month/account) & it wont let me do it. It keeps timing out. Tried in google chrome & IE.

There's a problem...

Me! I've tried in FireFox, IE and Chrome, nothing's working, tried 5 times now in total - seems to be an actual issue with their online banking. I am getting the exact same error.

However, mine was trying to set up a 1 time payment (not a regular standing order) to a named payee (not to pay a bill).

I was going to try later... hope they get it fixed soon.

Me too!! There's £100 to be had & the application needs to be sorted by 8th Jan!!

Have done 1 successfully now (a test transfer, to verify payee details), and my 2nd went through but is "needing manual approval".

!!!!!!. Starting to wish I'd not bothered with Halifax now....!

Try yours to see if you have any luck, anyway.

Actually I now have a little message alert popping up in the admin UI:

"We’re currently reviewing these transactions. To see them, please come back in 72.0 ."

I presume that means 72 hours? In which case I guess the payment will be made on Friday... since tomorrow is a banking day, and so is Friday... but anything beyond that... are we looking at next Wednesday or something... trying to get my head around the New Year bank holiday issues... hm.

Because their T&Cs state switching 2 D/Ds and/or S/Os in order to bag the £100.
