True, but I have 2 in my kitchen, a 30l one & a 50l one. I use the 30l for 'dirty' rubbish & the 50l for recycling..cardboard, newspaper, empty milk containers etc etc.

Freaky, I do exactly the same. No need for liners for the 50l bin as it's a straight dump into the recycling bin.

A word of warning though - Tesco do bags that will fit the 30l bin but they are quite dodgy and have a nasty habit of tearing around the plastic tie making them very difficult to seal. I'm just running down my Tesco stock but I did manage to get some Brabantia bags in August at £3.30 for a pack of 40 bags on Amazon. It's worth paying that bit extra for the proper bags as last thing you want is 30l worth of garbage falling on your kitchen floor.
