Internal wooden doors

I have 8 internal wooden doors i need replacing. I was thinking of buying the doors from somewhere like B&Q and getting an joiner to hang them.
Could anyone tell me . how long would a qualified joiner take to hang 8 doors and what would a reasonable cost be for the job. All the door frames seem to look okay to me too. Or by the way I'm not after really expensive wooden doors but not cheap compressed paper ones too.
All pointers greatly accepted. Thanks.

A decent carpenter would charge for about 2 days work including 3 hinges per door ,locks/latches and where necessary adjusting door stops.Taking into account sheeting up with plenty of clean dustsheets.
I wouldn't have a clue what the day rate for a good chippy is in East Yorkshire but down here in East Sussex most decent chippies charge between £150-£200 a day.0 -
In the North-East about £35 a door.. It could be done in a day if the casings are fitted well and nothing needs taking off the doors. This is usually never the case though.
I would say about 5 of the last thousand doors i have hung have dropped straight into the casing with out having to adjust the size...

Thanks for that leveller. It's better than what i expected. I had not got a clue so thought i would post to get some starting point. I thought it would be around a week to hang them [5 working days] and around£800. Shows what i know.0

John,,
Thanks for your imput John so that's about 200 quid. So it's looking like i could get it done for less than 500 if i buy the doors.
So my next question is how much for a decent but not overly expensive door. Off the top of my head without having a surf i would say 70 quid but what do i know and would that include the door furniture when buying them from the likes of B&Q.0 -

Lol, for £800 I'm John or myself would pop round and hang them.....
I'm not a fan of B&Q doors or Wickes for that matter , when you find the Chippy to hang them see if he has an account at Magnets or Howdens and lastly don't scrimp on the quality of latches/locks.0 -
The price of the door all depends on the style and structure of the door, They range from about £15 to £400...
Doors never come with the furniture.. I would also avoid places like B&Q, look at where your local joiners get them from..

Lol thanks Guys. Just shows if you know nowt about it to get some advice. Unlike my old man who takes the first quote.
Just been looking at local joiners and there's one who gets all of his doors from a local door suplier so he sounds like a good bet.
I thought if i bought the doors it would knock a good few quid off as the joiner is bound to buy them for x pound and sell them back onto me for y pound.
Looking at a joiner to hang 8 then and to supply i would surly be looking at around £700- 7200 -
http://www.howdens.com/product-range/doors-joinery-collection/internal-doors/hardwood-doors/louis-oak-6-light-glazed/
I recently supplied and hung 12 of these and the cost to me per door was about£110-00 each so its as John said doors can cost from £15-£400 each..
The same door at my local timber merchants would have cost me £180-00 each so it pays to shop around but you may be able to buy them yourself from Howdens/Magnet trade even though they advertise as "Trade only" as they all want/need the sales.
PS : If a man knocks at your door with a big grin and a toolbag it'll be John ........:D.0
