What is the make and model?
Possibly a blockage? Have you checked? If my post hasn't helped you, then don't click the 'Thanks' button!0 -
it's and AEG50674 will have another look for a blockage now.
Many thanks0 -
Same m/c as Neff and Siemens badged ones. Its an orange light yes? Thats just the "not finished the cycle" light. You may indeed have a blockage in the waste pipe particularly if its been used as a waste disposal unit rather than a dishwasher. In that case water will go through the housing where the bottom rotating arm is situated and into the tray underneath.
First - you need to check underneath where you will find the tray. If that tray is full of water then the anti-flood float switch will have operated to prevent water going everywhere. Bale it out using a sponge and bucket (turn power off first - there is an exposed connection under there which could easily give you a shock). Then it should operate again once the level has dropped and the float switch returned to its normal position.
Second - is the internal base of the machine full of water? Try baling that out - there is another float switch in there.
Lastly - if the d/w supply is cold mains from the same pipe as the kitchen tap then with the machine left on (just stopped) run some water from the cold tap. Sometimes the solenoid switch on the d/w sticks and relieving the water pressure in the system allows it to operate again.
On reflection try these three options in the reverse order to that stated - ie the easiest for you first.

keystone - AFAIK, AEG and BSH appliances have nothing in common. They are made on completely different platforms and probably dont share any components either. AEG is and has been part of the Electrolux group for some years now so if anything, it will share platforms and components with Electrolux and Zanussi. We’ve had to remove your signature. What does the manual tell you about the meaning of the error message? What point in the cycle is it stopping at?
I'd start by cleaning the filters and checking the drain hose for blockages or kinks. No free lunch, and no free laptop0
