IPOD Touch question

My daughter has had an Ipod touch from Santa. She previouly had a Shuffle. She trie to put her songs on the touch, but only the ones bought from the itunes store have been synched. All the other music, which was from her CD's, she does not seem to be able to work out how to transfer it onto her touch. Help please!

Do you have an iTunes library, including the purchased and un-purchased music on your PC, and are you merely trying to Sync the Touch to this library?

Yes, precisely. But she cannot put all her music on.

Have you looked under the Sync options under the iPod options when the iPod is connected.... Is it set to Sync all music?

Got an Ipod this Christmas and had this problem. You need to install the itunes controller (google it ) onto a computer, and then the quickest way is to pop a CD into the driver and the itunes controller will convert it for you. It is a pretty quick tool, then use the sycnh button to load it onto the Ipod.

Do you mean merely installing iTunes on the PC?

If so, the OP has done that already.
