    Evening

Thanks Guys, didn't really manage it :o he'd had a bad day, so I didn't think it was the best time really (and I was chicken :rotfl:) I kind of said he should have said and I'd have bought him a pint, which he seemed to find amusing. So we shall see. But I think he's out this evening for a friends birthday.

Is anyone else this pathetic when it comes to men? I mean I don't have a lot of confidence and I've been single a while so it's scary but I feel so stupid. Then I over think at and wonder... well what if he's just being friendly and isn't really interest :o

Nothing much to report on the money front, I have finally got round to selling one of my old phone handsets, so that should be another £24 heading my way soon :money: and I am just going to have a look and how much I'd get for another old one I have knocking around, but that's only £6 unless I can find the charger :o. So we all know what I'll be doing at the weekend :rotfl:. And no more bids on ebay yet, but the watchers are still there. Just over 2 days still to go.

So hopefully I'll have a little extra to play with next month, will need to list a few more things on Ebay at the weekend and carry on the NSD's but so far it's looking good.

    xx

*Sheepishly sticks her hand up* I'm bloomin awful with men, the really scary thing is that the boy is just as terrible with women so god only knows how we actually managed to end up together -and I suspect that its one of the main reason we're still together, the prospect of having to start over is just too terrifying (plus he makes a good human bed warmer and a reasonable cup of tea).

Looks like the ebay stuff is going well, fingers crossed for some decent bids before it all ends though. I need to start listing on ebay again but just can't be bothered, plus I don't think most of the random junk I have is even worth the effort of trying to sell.

i'm terrible as well with men, after being permanently single, meeting Mr LT was a bit of a shocker but aided i think by spending the first two weeks before we actually met just talking on the phone or computer.
just take it slowly is my advice, then fall into bed and think 's0d it!' lol

Hehe both your posts made me smile. Glad to know I'm not alone!

    Well I have news....

    I've DONE it :D:T:eek:

and he said yes, sounds good :D. He's out tonight for a birthday meal, so might not be this weekend, but at least I'm now open for the 'when are you taking me for that drink' conversation ;). Oh and Lemon... we've been chatting since before christmas so no fear of rushing it :rotfl: Although now messages have become much more interesting :o;) so looking forward to him coming back from his meal later for another chat.

On a money front (much more boring :rotfl:) I've posted the phone, so will be awaiting my £24 please, thanks. I have more bids on my Ebay items and a few more watchers on one item (some wedding cake pillars, don't ask they were given to me) so roll on Sunday morning when they end. Very excited!

Oh and I 'borrowed' (i.e liberated) some padded envelopes from work today, which will save me buying some :o

I think that's all my news for now... just very smiley at the moment :rotfl:

Whoop whoop. So glad that you managed to be brave enough to ask - and that he said yes, fingers crossed for you it happens soon. :D:beer:

Not a well known fact but the pet and I had been trading abuse via an online chat room and forum for almost a year before we even spoke on the phone and it took another year before we even saw a photo (and one of the first pics I saw was of the operation he had on his leg a couple of years before that...) of each other and met up. So def no rushing things there either.:rotfl:

i really must find the box that i've packed my wedding hat in, ready for your big event lol can you at least give me chance to move first before i start unpacking boxes lol
you think i'm kidding? i met Mr LT in Feb (online), March (in person), he asked my dad's permission in May, engaged in June, wedding booked and arranged the June and married a year Sept afterwards (only waited as we needed to save for the wedding and Mr LT had to move in) so it's completely do-able. No pressure....... lol

    :D that was quick

Thanks guys, I have to say the attention is nice, if nothing else. I like the whole instant messenger thing, give you chance to get to someone in relative safety (I know we work together so slightly different)

I will of course keep you updated

    lol,

He's just said he'll text me over the weekend to arrange a date :D which is great and I'm very excited. He's different to the guys I normally go for, which is probably a good thing.

As soon as I know when, you will all know when.

(oh and I have more bids on Ebay :T)
